 Re: Music
Osi, just wondering if you ever got a chance to listen to MPP and what you thought about it. Scooter, I have to thank you for the Burden Bros. suggestion. I have listened to their "Buried In Your Black Heart" album a half dozen times or so and have grown to really enjoy it. I also want to take a second to plug this album: Silversun Pickups - Carnavas They had a song on Rock Band 2 that I really liked, so I got this album and think it's really terrific. Reminds me a lot of early Smashing Pumpkins. Sample tracks: Lazy Eye (this is the song they had in RB2) Rusted Wheel

 Re: Music
I actually didn't care for MPP all that much. I've listened to a few things of that style that I have enjoyed but MPP just sounded too much like straight up noise with really no purpose. I'll give it another shot though. Some things suck ass the first go around and end up being great later down the road.

 Re: Music
It took me 2-3 listens to get into it. The first time through I was wondering, "Wtf is this and why am I listening to it?"

 Re: Music
Just discovered Daughtry. American Idol reject. Wasn't a fan originally, and each album only has a few good songs, but they are good. Rock music but not that crappy rock you see so much on tv. Take the good songs from each album, and make your own album, and you have a pretty solid album.
New Todd Snider album Excitement Plan is great as usual.

 Re: Music
I have started listening to the White Lies album, To Lose My life, again. My sister turned me on to them in late 2008 I guess. They are rock for sure, but have a little 80's/U2 kinda feel, but not in a copy-cat way by any means. Lead singer has a very unique voice. Check 'em out.
