That's funny. So they set everyone up to use a proxy service so that can restrict users or control how many users can/can't go on the net (as well as it often provides better security choices) yet give them the option to turn it off???

Smooth move on their part or are you just one of the few that has access to it because of your privilages? I guess if you can sign in as an administrator you have full control.

I believe the proxy service is only controllable on laptops, so that you can browse when you are not on the company server. My desktop did not have the option to turn it off.
